A shed, not a marina.

The building is one room: racks along the north wall, a bench under the window, and a wood stove with a cracked firebrick we have not replaced. There is no fuel dock, no hoist, and no one on the radio.

Families around the lake have used the same pegs for years. Your peg number is painted on the beam and written in the yard book. If you sell the boat, tell us before launch week so the peg can move.

What we will not take

• Outboards with fuel still in them
• Boats that do not fit through the double door
• Wet sails left in a bag on the floor

Varnish days are Thursdays in March. Bring your own brushes if you are particular. The kettle is on.
